October Meeting

Our next HMBC meeting will be on Wednesday October 16 at 6:30pm in the Band Room (M101) at HHS. A zoom link will be made available if you can’t make it in person. Perfect timing to drop off your concession purchases (see below!). We need parent volunteers to help out, please mark your calendar and consider attending! Even helping for a few hours just one day this year is significant and there are plenty of opportunties to do so!

Concessions Sign Up Genius

We still don’t have all of our slots filled up! Please sign up and help us shop for some supplies. Concessions are the biggest help we can give and really take a load off of the teachers. Once you have delivered it to HMS Band Room (M101) before October 22. (You can make one trip by bringing it to the HMBC Meeting on October 16!)

We also need some volunteers to help us sell the concessions at the Department of Fine Arts 2024 Fall Concert, which is less than two weeks away on October 13! Sign up here:

October Battle of the Bands!

Don’t forget about our ongoing Battle of the Bands fundraiser, a competition between the Hereford Music Department’s Band and the Orchestra/Choir ensembles. This particular fundraising opportunity is a tax deductible way to support our talented students and offset their Spring Trip costs. Pledges will be applied directly to students' trip accounts to reduce your balance owed. Pledge to Practice! Each participant can collect donations or pledges for every hour they practice, for a total of ten hours before the Winter concert. This is a great way to motivate our students to practice their pieces while raising funds for their 2025 Spring Trip.
