BCPS All County

The Hereford Music Department is thrilled to announce these student musicians who have placed in the BCPS All-County Band, Choir, and Orchestra. These Hereford students will join the best of the best in Baltimore County for an unforgettable performance on Saturday, December 6th at Carver Center. We are so very proud of each of these students!

Senior Music Photos

We are starting a tradition of offering professional photos for our music program Seniors! We are working with Leslie Steppe Photography and currently taking time slots on 12/17 & 12/18 at HHS. Your student will already be decked out in their concert black! Time slots will be from 2:30-5:30 on both days in Room M103 & help is available for setting up larger instruments.

We also have something special in mind for the Spring Concert as a tribute to our Seniors, so even if you don’t plan to purchase these photos, at least get them taken!

Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Concerts

We have 5 concerts coming up in December!

Wednesday, December 10th - HMS Choir at 6:20pm
Thursday, December 11th - HMS Band at 6:20pm
Friday, December 12th - HMS Strings at 6:20pm
Wednesday, December 17th - HHS Winter Concert at 6:30pm 
(GT Guitar, Chamber Choir, Concert Choir and Steel Band)
Thursday, December 18th - HHS Winter Concert Day 2 @ 6:30pm
(Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra at Jazz Band)

Are you available during those concerts to help sell concessions? This is a huge part of our fundraising, so please consider it! No experience necessary except pointing to the QR code and handing people their items! Let us know you can make it!

Please consider donating to our 2025-26 Direct Donation Campaign.  Our boosters program provides essential financial and volunteer support that helps Hereford Music thrive by covering costs for equipment and performances, while also helping to promote student success and community engagement. Boosters fund necessary items like sheet music, guest artists, piano accompaniments, and travel expenses that the school budget may not cover.

• New for 2026: HMBC sponsored scholarships for the Hereford HS Community Scholarships program. There will be 4, $1000 scholarships for outstanding Senior music students.

• End of year music department banquet

• Bi-annual performance trip to Hershey

• Park Bi-annual overnight performance trip (past trips have included Dollywood, Busch Gardens, Disneyworld)
